Introduction to POVERTY 102:
Dr. Donna Beegle grew up in Generational Poverty. If we come from Middle-Income America, we may be able to imagine life in poverty, but to truly understand the life of the poor, we need to listen to the experience of someone who has been in poverty, and who comes from generations of poverty.
Dr. Beegle says that one of the essential ingredients to moving out of poverty is having someone in your life who cares personally about you. That's what Life Initiatives is all about.
